Episode 15: Off Script: ASMR + Whiskey
Jesse & Margaret go off script and discuss the documentary that he mentioned in episode 13 with En-May Mangels-
Derren Brown: Sacrifice.
Along with some big Aha's we've had recently:
"Logic is the love of my life"
"Accomplishment is my heroin"
"Go wide, rather than tall."
We also addressed a question from a listener, Melissa Weidling from Bellingham, WA- all on culture. Her question was "What strategies do you use to maintain the desired culture on your team? How do you right the ship when it drifts (or better- prevent drifts altogether)?

Episode 14: Susan Scott- Author of Fierce Conversations
šThis episode is very special to both Jesse & Margaret. Susan has turned down multiple interview requests this year- and we are beyond honored that she came and spent time with us and thus- all of youĀ
The 411: Known for her bold yet practical approach to executive coaching and leadership development, Susan Scott has been challenging people to say the things that are hard to say for over two decades.Ā
Susan founded Fierce in 2001 after 13 years leading CEO think tanks, more than 10,000 hours of conversations with senior executives, and one epiphany:
While no single conversation is guaranteed to change the trajectory of a career, a business, a marriage, or a lifeāany single conversation can.
Susan continues to share her expertise with clients through her keynote presentations, and award-winning books.
When Susan is not traveling the world delivering keynotes and developing great leaders, she resides in Seattle, Washington.

Episode 11 of Finely Clicked:
Mary Smith: Be YouĀ
---> focused on networking, creating an optimized work environment, connections that bring value, and the ROI of kindness, empathy and inclusivity.
š£Please share to your Facebook page and with fellow Admin!
Curious about networking? How do you create an environment where everyone is happy to be there, productive and efficient? Is the environment inclusive?
Is there someone in your life that just knows EVERYONE- and always seems to have a connection?
Mary Smith has worked for the Seattle School District for 27 years. She has been the Office Manager at Ingraham High School for the last 15 years- working directly with the Principal- Martin Floe.
She is a Mother to 4 kids- Margaret, Matthew, Addison & Benjamin. Her husband, Andrew Smith has worked for QFC for over 35 years in the Seattle, WA area.
Everyone knows Mary- if you talk to someone in the Seattle area- it wouldn't be crazy to ask them if they knew Mary.
We talk about mindset a lot in the Real Estate industry and in life, however Iām discovering that so MANY people donāt actually believe in it. Donāt believe in the power of living intentionally, listening to HEAR rather than respond, talking to other people and yourselfĀ šš»WITH INTENTION, positivity, and gratitude.

Wednesday Nov 21, 2018

"I hate being told what to do."
Today's episode is all about Autonomy.Ā
-What is autonomy?
-What does autonomy for an Admin actually LOOK like?
-What are some real life examples?
You're also in luck because this podcast all stemmed from a blog that Margaret wrote- in response to a question from Jesse. So the blog is being published today alongside this special podcast episode. Link to blog: AUTONOMY
Margaret's definition of autonomy: "My definition ofĀ autonomyĀ in the context of a business partnership and company is the ability to carry out a vision however I determine, with the best interest of those it will impact in mind."
